Oilers Host Coyotes Friday Night

Edmonton Looking to Extend Point Streak

Evander Kane Spoke to Media After OT Loss

The Edmonton Oilers will host the Arizona Coyotes at Rogers Place on Friday night looking to extend their point streak to eight games. The Oilers are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Coyotes on Tuesday night, but they still hold a 49-25-6 record, good for second place in the Pacific Division.

The Coyotes, meanwhile, are 35-41-5 and are in danger of missing the playoffs. However, they have won two of their last three games and are hoping to upset the Oilers on Friday night.

The Oilers will be without Leon Draisaitl, who is out with an upper-body injury. However, Connor McDavid is expected to play and he will be looking to continue his torrid pace. McDavid has 44 goals and 79 assists in 78 games this season.

The Coyotes will be led by Clayton Keller, who has 27 goals and 27 assists in 79 games this season. Keller is a dangerous player and he will be looking to make a difference against the Oilers.

The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. MT and will be televised on Sportsnet.
