Bombers unveil special 150th-year logo

Essendon Football Club has unveiled a special edition logo to commemorate its 150th anniversary.

The new logo features a stylized version of the club's traditional red and black sash, with the words "Essendon Football Club" written in gold across the top. The logo also includes the club's 150th-anniversary crest, which features a stylized version of the club's mascot, the bomber.

Essendon president Dave Barham said the new logo was a fitting way to celebrate the club's rich history.

"This is a special year for our club, and we wanted to create a logo that would reflect the pride and passion of our members and supporters," Barham said.

"The new logo is a modern interpretation of our traditional sash, and it incorporates our 150th-anniversary crest, which is a symbol of our club's rich history."

The new logo will be used on all of the club's official merchandise and publications during the 2022 season.
